PRE

Parental Responsibilities Evaluations (PREs) are court-ordered evaluations conducted in accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes §14-10-127 and applicable court standards. The purpose of a PRE is to provide the Court with objective, developmentally informed recommendations regarding parenting time and decision-making, based on the best interests of the child.

This process involves meeting individually with each parent, gathering relevant background information, reviewing records, consulting with collateral contacts when appropriate, and observing parent-child interactions. My approach is thorough, neutral, and grounded in attachment, trauma-informed, and child development principles.

The role of the PRE is not to provide therapy, but to offer the Court clear, balanced, and clinically informed insight to support decisions that promote the child’s safety, stability, and long-term wellbeing.
